At Emerald City Comic Con, a vibrant gathering of passionate fans and creative minds, I will be capturing striking portraits of cosplayers who bring their favorite characters to life. This photography project focuses on the artistry, dedication, and individuality behind cosplay, showcasing both the craftsmanship of costumes and the personalities of those who wear them.

Using a mix of natural light and portable studio lighting, I will create dynamic and immersive portraits that highlight the intricate details of each costume while maintaining a cinematic and polished aesthetic. Each image will tell a story—whether it’s the fierce determination of a warrior, the whimsical charm of a fantasy character, or the dark mystique of a gothic antihero.

By blending the energy of the convention setting with carefully composed shots, my goal is to celebrate the intersection of fandom, self-expression, and visual storytelling. These portraits will not only document the creativity on display at Emerald City Comic Con but also serve as a tribute to the incredible community that makes it such a unique and inspiring event.

Final images will be shared online and compiled into a digital gallery; Cosplayers will also have the opportunity to receive high-quality copies of their portraits as a keepsake of their experience.
